Competitive Bidding will very soon become a reality. In this session,
you will learn all the facets to understanding and surviving the
implementation > of CMS’ competitive bidding from a member of the PAOC
committee. Get the latest details on how CMS is implementing competitive
bidding in the first ten large metropolitan areas, including bidding
rules, how the bid rates are set, how suppliers submitted bids,
network and subcontracting options for smaller suppliers and more.
Learn how competitive bidding will be rolled out to 70 additional areas
in 2009 and how it will affect the entire industry, your company and your
consumers. Attendees will also learn the latest on Congressional
efforts to modify the program, and learn how to best inform Members of
Congress about the ill-effects of this program.
